Hi, I’m Alisa Vitti, and
I have been where you are.
15 years ago, I weighed 200 lbs. My face, chest and back were covered in painful—and very unpretty—cystic acne. I only had my period twice a year. I was exhausted, anxious, depressed, and I had constant brain fog. I didn’t know what was wrong with me, but there was no mistaking this for normal.
When my symptoms were at their worst, I saw specialist after specialist to see if there was a solution that would treat the root cause, not just cover up symptoms and manage my condition. I tried every alternative modality—from acupuncture and herbs to massage, from meditation and yoga to energy work.
When nothing worked, I began to research hormones, chronobiology and functional nutrition so I could put together a strategy to help my body recover.
One of my most significant discoveries was that we as women have cyclical nutritional needs. They shift as your hormones shift in your regular cycle. And they shift as you move from your teens to your twenties to your thirties and forties and beyond.
For you to live at your most vibrant level at any stage, you have to feed yourself the things that nurture and protect what makes you uniquely female—your hormones.
As soon as I figured out this missing puzzle piece, everything fell into place. I finally got my period and have kept it regular ever since. Over 50 pounds of weight melted off easily. My cystic acne disappeared, and my skin became luminous. My energy came back and I learned to use the timing of my body, not the time on the clock to organize my whole life to my advantage. I saw that I could architect a peak flow state of being with my health, my body, my work, my relationships, and even motherhood consistently. I found my FLO.
As a result of that experience, I’m on a mission to teach EVERY woman how to get In The FLO.
